As a Cumbrian born and bred, I really enjoy combining my appreciation of the northern countryside with a lifelong passion for photography. I love the thrill of seeing spectacular landscapes and discovering new places. I enjoy fascinating histories, finding hidden treasures, seeing all things quirky, and sitting for hours watching wildlife. EQUIPMENT: My first dslr was a Nikon D70, so you may find that some images on the site are very much smaller than the newer additions. I then worked my way up through the Nikon D range before converting to the Sony A range of mirrorless cameras. I now shoot with the Sony A7R4 which I love.
